Drawing is one of the most basic and direct forms of non-verbal communication. Synchronised drawing extends the practice beyond the “reading of images” into the realms of a shared whole-body experience.
Step 1: Find a marker and a big sheet of paper. Spread the paper and fix/stick it to the floor.
Step 2: Start a video call with a stranger or a friend, the camera should capture yourselves from head to toe.
Step 3: Hold the marker with your toes.
Step 4: One of you starts drawing with your foot; the other persons tries to mirror their movements.
Clap your hands each time you have finished your movement/line; then let your partner take the lead.
Step 5: Take turns to create a collaborative drawing; enjoy the chat.
